The San Jose IBM Quarter Century Club Newsletter
 1st
Quarter 2010

Designer and Editor:  Serena Joe Lucchesi

A Message from the President

Dear Friends,
The club continues to work on its primary mission of communication
with all of its members through the website, newsletters and visits to
those that are sick as well as participating in the joint social
activities with the Retirement club. If you haven’t participated in the
joint functions, please do, since it is a good way to see your fellow
IBM’ers active or retired. The events calendar is very full for
2010 so come join the fun. By the way, since our newsletter is
quarterly, you should check the QCC Web Site for any price updates
or new events.

I hope all of you are having a great year and look forward to seeing
you at the club activities.

As part of the QCC club mission to keep IBM'ers connected, we will periodically advertise geographical areas that are interested in "getting connected." Below is a list of the current local groups that you might be interested in.

Also, there are 2 local groups that are looking for more participants. First, in the Palm Desert/Palm Springs areas,  John Feeley and Pete Joachim want to set up a get together.  You can use John’s email below or email or phone Pete at Rancho Mirage(760-770-4114) or  in Saratoga (408-867-1176).

The show Good Morning America quotes
"The Hottest New Musical in New York!"

Coming in March, The Retro Dome will take you back to the music, the fashion and the freedom of the 60's! This smashing revue tracks five groovy gals as they come of age during those liberating days that made England swing!
The first production in our 2010 "Off-Broadway San Jose" Series is a non-stop journey through the infectious and soulful pop anthems and ballads that made household names of stars like Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield and Lulu with such chart-topping hits as "To Sir With Love," "Downtown," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," "Son of A Preacher Man," and "Goldfinger." With its irresistible blend of hip-swiveling hits, eye-popping fashions and psychedelic dances from the 60's, this fun-filled musical will make you want to throw your head back and SHOUT!
