entertainment options Local Groups As part of the QCC club mission to keep IBM'ers connected, we will periodically advertise geographical areas that are interested in "getting connected." Below is a list of the current local groups that you might be interested in. Also, there are 2 local groups that are looking for more participants. First, in the Palm Desert/Palm Springs areas, John Feeley and Pete Joachim want to set up a get together. You can use John’s email below or email or phone Pete at Rancho Mirage(760-770-4114) or in Saratoga (408-867-1176). In addition the San Jose Villages is a gated senior's community in the foothills approximately three or four miles east of the (former) Cottle Road plant site. At last count there were about seventy former IBM employees living there. They are semi-organized with Annette Rosenberg and Clare Kruse maintaining an e-mail list. They have had several re-unions in the past but nothing for several years now. So, if you want get together with them please contact them..
